I Had A Hernia Repair Two Months Ago (inguinal) And

I had a hernia repair two months ago (inguinal) and from time to time I am conscious of the area of the repair, almost as though the hernia is returning. I has that feeling through this morning, but after passing wind it subsided; is it normal for the area of the hernia to generate this sort of feeling?
