Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a kidney transplant 1 1/2 yrs ago. I had renal failure due to high blood pressure for years. Now I have developed polycythemia- secondary. I have side effects of burning feet, headaches, now my bones and joints are starting to ache. I took epogen while on dialysis and took neupogen shots after transplant. I have been tested and no cancer in my blood. Do you have any suggestions for me to discuass with my transplant Dr. He is very confused as to what the problem could be. Do you have any ideas??
