I had a knee replacement 4 years ago .after 10 dats I was septic and had many revisions.6 in all not counting i&d's to clean the joint.i was looking at my blood work online as I prepare for a rt leg amputation due to necrosis of the femur aka above the knee amputation.my question is about a recent blood panel done and I had a s.e.d rate of 30.is that normal with severe o.a and joint infection or should it be lower due to the antibiotic spacer and venkomayacin impregnated cement and beads surrounding the joint?thank u a million for your insight
