I Had A Lab Test For Uti And Started Taking

I had a lab test for Uti and started taking monurol yesterday. It has been the antibiotic of choice for me since I am allergic to Macrobid and sulfur meds. I am still runimg a fever tonight. Has it just not had time to kick in. Or should I take another three gram sachet?
