I Had A Large Ovarian Cyst Removed In The Process

I had a large ovarian cyst removed in the process they accidentally cut my bowel, is it possible to have gotten a parasite in my intestines 7 weeks after surgery? because I experience bouts of diarrhea and gripping lower abdominal pain. it has been almost 5 months now and the symptoms have lessened but are still present.
