I Had A Large Tumor Removed From My Back Over

I had a large tumor removed from my back over 14lbs,.it had to be closed with a large skin graft, the size of a dinner plate. It's been over a year and it's still looking better all the time. But will the skin ever look or act like regular skin? It looks like leather, it smoothes out when I pull my shoulders forward and stretch out. Do you think I. Will gain feeling back in the skin?
