I Had A Left Side Thoracotomy With Decortication To Treat

I had a left side thoracotomy with decortication to treat my lung after a fall and 3 fractured ribs (8-10). Its 15 months post surgery and I cannot move my left arm normally and without pain. My entire gait is abnormal due to an inability to swing my left arm as I walk, and my left side aches when moving or standing. My surgeon was stumped as was an orthopedist and both advised PT which was of no help. I suspect adhesions are the cause but not sure. Can surgery clean up the scar tissue? I'm willing to try anything to return my body to its pre-surgical state as this has destroyed my life. My doctors have been unable to provide answers. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.
