I Had A Lump Removed Two Weeks Ago And I

I had a lump removed two weeks ago and I was told the results came back as cancerous I.e. Basal cell Carinoma. I had the lump for some four years. It's odd that now I am suffering from headaches on and off. Are the headaches a coincidence or possibly a side effect to the skin cancer?
