I Had A Mild Razor Rash And Re Next Day

I had a mild razor rash and re next day looked like an ingrown hair my husband got it out and it seemend to be healing but now I have pimple bumps everywhere and one is spreading so huge it is in my groin and runs one side and all across the punk bone and in my lower stomach as well as my leg at te top. I don't want to go to the er and show them all my privates but this is hurting so bad I'm crying with it. Does it sound like staph? Can I treat it at home or has it gone too far?
