I Had A Miscarriage Two Weeks Ago, I Bled For

I had a miscarriage two weeks ago, I bled for 9 days afterwards but since then the opening area of my vagina has been red and irritated what could be the cause? There is no discharge or foul smell just itchy/irritated. I also was bleeding for 3 weeks before my medically helped miscarriage of that helps to know.
