Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a molar extracted 6 days ago. It came out easily and I had no problems afterwards until a bit of bone made it's way out and then my gum around the extraction site and the tooth infront starting coming away. Now I just have a massive flap of gum hanging down which is extremely painful. I've been washing with salt water and eating on the opposite side of my mouth but everything I eat seems to get stuck in there and make it worse.I went to see my dentist again today who told me there was nothing they could do. Is there anything that can be done?
