I Had A Mole Removed Years Ago.. I've Been Itching

I had a mole removed years ago.. I've been itching on my back on and around in that area for about 2 years now.. I most recently had a mole appear not in the same place but adjacent to that area. I've been to two dermatologist that don't seem concerned however, I haven't been back since this new mole appeared only a few days ago... the itching drives me crazy.. could this be melanoma?
