Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a neck lift and eyebrow lift 3-1/2 months ago and have a dent on top of my head where the incision was made to lift the eyebrows and still have lumps and bumps under my chin. I am also experiencing black spots and lines in my left eye which interferes with my vision and will be visiting an Ophthalmologist soon. Is the dent on top of my head uncommon? What caused the dent to appear. I also did not have a anesthesiologist during my surgery, only the nurse and doctor. When I came home I could not stop vomiting. My surgery was at 8am. My husband called the doctor twice because he was very concerned. The doctor told my husband to give me a little sugar and Gatorade, jello and crackers. I finally stopped vomiting around midnight. Today I had another follow up appointment (one of many). The doctor said he would correct the dent whenever I wanted. I'm afraid because there is no guarantee the surgery will be better than what I have at the moment. Please let me know what caused the dent that is 3 inches long on top of my head and when I can expect the lumps and bumps of the necklift to go away. Everytime I ask the doctor, he just says it will take time but never can say how much time or what caused the dent on top of my head. Thank you very much
