I Had A Nerve Block Administered For A Bicep Tendon

I had a nerve block administered for a bicep tendon repair surgery. The surgery took place 2 weeks and 2 days ago and there still seem to be residual effects from the nerve block affecting one particular nerve (that controls the extension of fingers in my hand). Is that rare? Should I expect this nerve to get back to normal?
