I Had A Pap Test Couple Of Days Ago And

I had a pap test couple of days ago and unfortunately somehow my specimen has gotten lost by the lab and i need to get it done again this week. do i need to wait for the cervix cells to regenerate and regrow or can i get it done again this week. thanks
