I Had A Pap Test Result Say Endocervical And/or Squamous

I had a pap test result say Endocervical and/or squamous metaplastic cell (endocervical component) are present. I have had problems before with pap smears. Have tested positive for HPV. I have had two separate procedures. I haven't heard from the doctor yet. At the appointment, he said if everything was good, he would see me in a year. The last go around with this, he said he would just do a hysterectomy if there were any problems in the future. My question is, should I expect to go back for further testing before a year?
