I Had A Partial Thyroidectomy About Four Weeks Ago. The

I had a partial thyroidectomy about four weeks ago. The fna said the cyst was benign but after the pathology report came back it showed it was papillary carsenoma . The doctor said they got it all and are not removing the other side. The surgery has caused my left vocal cord to be as the doctor said, lazy. He said if he removed the right thyroid my breathing would be compromised. I am not going for an ultrasound till February. Does all this sound normal and ok?
