I Had A Pilondal Cyst In 1970. It Was Handled

I had a pilondal cyst in 1970. It was handled surgically. In the last 6 to 8 months I've had another. It was uncomfortable but not unbearable. This weekend I was away at a pistol match. Suddenly I developed a huge rash similar to a child's diaper rash. Very uncomfortable. Could the cyst erupt and cause those? Where it would be is now red and raw.
