I Had A Pimple On My Penis, Deep Under The

I had a pimple on my penis, deep under the skin, for 3 days. It was sensitive to the touch and when I decided to try and squeeze it nothing happened. So I stuck a needle in it and tried again. This time liquid puss came out however, there was an off smell to it. I have had a recurring ingrown hair there before. Might this still be the case?
