I Had A Pin In My Baby Toe On The

I had a pin in my baby toe on the 16th October and had an xray today as the pin was coming out - it was sticking out a lot more than normal and I panicked. my xrays show that the pin is still in a normal place through the toe - is it a problem to have the pin sticking out?? I have the pin removed in four weeks time.
