I Had A Pin Put In My Toe Because Of

I had a pin put in my toe because of wearing high heels and the toe was really bent. THe pin has always hurt and caused a big callus on my big toe beside the pin. I now have a swollen place on the base of the toe and it is really aggravating trying to wear shoes. Can anything be done?
