I Had A Positive Pregnancy Test And 6 Days Later

I had a positive pregnancy test and 6 days later to the doctor and he gave me another urine pregnancy test but he said the line was very faint so he wanted to test my hcg levels does this mean I'm having a miscarriage. I was dehydrated that day I don't know it makes a difference
