I Had A Quick Question, I Was Prescribed Voltaren Gel

I had a quick question, I was prescribed Voltaren gel for osteoarthritis that I developed from a pilon fracture in my ankle. I am actually feeling more pain and achy all over my body. I just wanted to know if this is the cause since this is the only new thing added to my routine. It started yesterday and I just started using it on Tuesday night.
