I Had A Rash On My Upper Thigh. I'm Not

I had a rash on my upper thigh. I'm not sure if it's ringworm or eczema. It keeps coming back on different parts of my body, but I only have on my thigh currently. So since the prescribed medicines wasn't working, I did some research and found that garlic can help fungal infections. So I chopped up a clove of garlic and applied it to my thigh with a band aid overnight. When took it off, it was swollen and squishy. So could this be an allergic reaction to the garlic or does this mean it's working? By the way, before I didn't anything to the lesion, it was like a scab appeared out of no where without a cut or any pus or anything. So what could it be, eczema or ringworm??
