I had a recent atrial fibrillation event, and declined the combo of cardiazem and amiodarone after ill tolerating beta blockade, and after reviewing the potentially devastating interactions and multi system consequences, elected to and subsequently underwent a successful ablation w/o complications. The question is ,how often is this med combo used and do you see complex multi organ system side effect as a result?
