I Had A Recent Ct Scan Which Showed A Shadowy

I had a recent ct scan which showed a shadowy area in a specific part of the brain, ive since had an mri which didn't pick up anything bu am now being sent to see a neurologist based on the two tests done at 2 different hositals I don't quie understand it as I know mri scans are more detailed, can it be anything a neurologist could be needed for?
