I Had A Right Hip Replacement In Late 2015. This

I had a right hip replacement in late 2015. This morning that hip was so painful I could hardly put weight on it but it was ok to sit. I toughed through it for about 4-5 hours at work, then it went away. But it has come and gone since, though the pain has not been as bad as it was this morning. Am I endangering the hip to wait for a Dr appt until next week?
