I Had A Right Rotator Cuff Tear Repair Arthroscopically. Extensive

I had a right rotator cuff tear repair arthroscopically. Extensive deride end, subacromial decompression, mini open rotator cuff repair and a biceps tenodesis. Tonier Piton 3.3mmanchors x2 . I was in a sling for 6 weeks. I developed severe "tennis elbow". Which subsided somewhat. Now I am 8 weeks out and have a great deal of swelling in the fingers of the operative hand. My index finger will not touch my palm, and my hand is essentially not functional. I still have a tremendous amount of shoulder pain and arm pain with some numbness on the lateral aspect of the arm . My fingers are so stiff that I just can't function. Any suggestions for what might be wrong?? My doctor insists that the hand and finger swelling are not related to the surgery, but I have never had any issues with this hand in the past. I had steroids for a week, with no relief. Then he prescribed Tordol for 5 days. Now he is calling it Polymyalgia and testing me for arthritis? What are your thoughts?
