Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a root canal yesterday on tooth #15. During the process of flushing out the nerve I experienced severve pain and burning of my nasal passage and throat. The endodontist changed the solution and packed the tooth with medication for it to "calm down". I return in 2 weeks to finish and have a crown placed. Last evening I began having moderate amounts of bloodly drainage which smelled and tasted liked chlorine. If I bend forward it drips from the nose, lay down it runs down my throat. Today the pain has subsided but the drainage contiues, somewhat decreased.
