I Had A Salipinectomy Last Tues 4/1/2016 And The Swelling

I had a salipinectomy last Tues 4/1/2016 and the swelling on my left side is worse than when I came out of the hospital. There is a huge knot in the place where my fallopian tube and ovary were recently removed from. It feels like it's burning and I get sharp stabbing pains in the area. My breasts are also very very sore to the touch. My family has restricted me from doing my daily chores and my walks have been very short and slow...my follow up isn't until Wed but my aunt who's a nurse says I should go to the ER...is any of this normal? Should I go to the ER or wait till F/U on Wed?
