I Had A Slap Repair Almost 10 Years Ago. I

I had a slap repair almost 10 years ago. I recall the initial concern when I first became aware of the unknown injury as I had extreme pain when I would turn a handle to open a door. Other than that motion, I was only uncomfortable. 10 years later, I am reminded of that kind of pain when I bring my elbow out from my body, in line with my shoulder, up and to the right. (Like flying). It almost takes my breath away in that position, otherwise, just uncomfortable. Is this something I should be concerned with, with no known re-injury? Is rein jury common after such a repair?
