I Had A Slightly Skinned Place On My Left Leg,

I had a slightly skinned place on my left leg, just below the knee cap. No current redness or bruising on the skin. I have complete numbness in area approximately 4 inches across the area. If I scratch on the right side, I feel it on the left side of the area. In the middle, there is an excrutiating level of pain and burning to touch. It is well beyond a level of 10. Oddly, there is no discomfort with walking or flexing the knee. Please advise what I can do to help this pain or should I see my Doctor?
