I Had A Slipped Disc About 6 Years Ago. Yesterday

I had a slipped disc about 6 years ago. Yesterday I lifted something heavy and felt a sudden sharp pain in my lower back. I'm in a lot of pain. It's slightly better when I lie down, although even then if can be difficult to find a comfortable position. Last time it took several weeks to heal. Do you think I have slipped a disc again?
