I Had A Sore Waxed Ear Probally From My Aerphones

I had a sore waxed ear probally from my aerphones when running.I went to my great doctor who said he would give me liquid anbiodics,but try and wash it out.the ear was sore anyway but when syringing he went hard and extruciating pain for a moment.All aroound my ear is painful,but he said my ear drum was ok.What has he done?
