I Had A Spigelian Hernia Repair Before 2000 That Required

I had a spigelian hernia repair before 2000 that required both a mesh plug & mesh covering. While I was wiping from using the restroom I felt a pain and protrusion on that same side which I was able to push back in stopping the pain. As long as I am able to push it back in if/when it happens do I still need to have it further evaluated?
