I Had A Staph Infection One Month Ago That Turned

I had a staph infection one month ago that turned into cellulitis. I was treated with IV/Oral Bactrim and the cellulitis went away. Now I am experience constant lower back pain, fatigue, and feel cognitively cloudy and slow. Could the staph have returned and gone septic, or would 10 days of oral and one IV administration of Bactrim not allowed that to happen? I ask because my father had staph that went septic and into his spine.
