I Had A Stent Done In August 2014. I Have

I had a stent done in August 2014. I have high blood pressure and diabetes. I have permanent nerve damage to my ankle (due to a flesh eating bacteria). My pain management doctor (whom I don't see anymore) put me on 5% lidocaine and diclofenac sodium Gel. I just read the warning here online about this Gel. With all my heart problems is it really safe for me to use?
