I Had A Steroid Shot For A Knee That Is

I had a steroid shot for a knee that is bone on bone versus surgery a year ago. Will I be able to receive another shot since its been a year. I know eventually I will need surgery but want to work for awhile yet. I am 77 and put in only 5 hours a day but sit at a computer during that time. I am hoping a shot will make me feel much better like the last time a had the shot. Thank you for your time.
