I Had A Stroke 5 Months Ago That Caused Depression,

I had a stroke 5 months ago that caused depression, I was taking 20 m of Paxil then he increased it to 30 then 40 mg . I was still sad so he added nortriptyline 10 mg. I took it for 3 days so far. It makes me tired so I take the Paxil & nortriptyline before bed . Drugs scare me, should they?
