I Had A Strong Even Extreme Coughing Event Due To

I had a strong even extreme coughing event due to "water going down the wrong hatch". Immediately following is damage to my left eye vision. There are a largely increased amount of floaters and a linear flash of light in the far left peripheral vision every time I look quickly from the right to the left. There is no pain or increased sense of pressure in the left eye. I'm afraid the pressure of my coughing has done damage to my left eye. Now 48 hours after the event, no change.
