I Had A Surgery To Repair Two Ruptured Disc At

I had a surgery to repair two ruptured disc at L4L5 and L5 S1 on June 1 of this year. I went to rehab for two weeks and then came home to have my husband take care of me. I went back to see my spinal doc for a check up two weeks later and I was told because of my severe osteoporosis my bones had collapsed around the two titanium cages that were put in. I was then told I would have to take pain medicine for the rest of my life. I have weaned myself off the OxyContin and now take oxycodone 5 to 6 a day. The surgery was partially successful in that it cleared up my foot drop and numbness and pain in my left leg. I now have pain in my back continuous that I would rate as a 7. Is there anything I can do to ease the pain besides pain medication. Would a pain pump work. Thank you for your help.
