I Had A Termination 3 Weeks Ago And Before This

I had a termination 3 weeks ago and before this and during this I have been on the SlimmingWorld diet, I get weighed every Thursday, the day before the termination I lost 2lbs ever since I've been weighed after the termination I've gained weight, first 1.5lbs, then 3lbs then 1.5lbs on Christmas Eve! Can you pls tell me how long it takes for the body to go back to normal?
