I Had A Terrible Shingle Virus In January 2015.I Was
I had a terrible shingle virus in January 2015.I was hospitalized for five days and in and out of bed for
six weeks.I was on gabapentin.I am now on a medicine (Horizant) which has decreased the pain but not the numbness.Are you familiar with this medication.I want to know if the numbness should be decreasing also.I was told that it would however It seem to be the same before I started on this medication which has been six weeks. I am trying to sit it out however it is really aggravating.I am an 81yr old lady and was told the older a person is the worse shingles can be,I also had the injection four years ago.What do you think ?
