I Had A Tonsillectomy, My Adenoids Removed, And Turbinate Reduction

I had a tonsillectomy, my adenoids removed, and turbinate reduction done on May 27th 2016. Im now day 11 post op and am starting to feel better (able to talk, eating more "real" food etc). I was wondering how long until I am able to drink alcohol again? Is it best to start with beer or wine before moving to hard liquor? Thanks!
