I Had A Trapezius Left Side Muscle Spasm Over A

I had a trapezius left side muscle spasm over a week ago. I saw a doctor took a muscle relaxer for 5 days and ibuprofen too. Also used some heat as suggested. Muscle spasm is better but I have tingling in my left hand.
Would PT help? What else? How long could tingling last?
