I Had A Urinary Track Infection Whereas I Took Cipro

I had a urinary track infection whereas I took Cipro for 5 days. The count was over 300,000. When retested
the count was between 50,000 to 75,000. Was told to take Augmenten. I have had some stomach
problems and did not take the Augmenton. I retested two weeks later and now it shows no growth
but WBC Esterase 2+ WBC 6-10 and RBC 3-10. I am wearing a pessary due to a prolapse of the
rectem and intestine (rectocele and enterocele). There is traces of blood. I never had symtoms but
do have some slight burning now. A cyctocope was used to look into the bladder and everything
looked okay. Would a utra- sound be more accurate. Another culture was sent by cathether. This was
also done approx. 5 months ago by cathether, which the urine was clear but it showed an infection.
At that time I took Macrobid which did not work and then Bactrum which worked.
At this time I was told that there is no infection. But I am concerned about the WBC Esterase 2+
and the WBC 6-10 and RBC 3-10. Would a CBC blood test show if I have an infection showing the
white blood count. Please let me know. I appreciate it.
