I Had A Viral Infection 4 Weeks Ago And Shingles

I had a viral infection 4 weeks ago and shingles 2 weeks ago which caused eye infections. This week I have come down with a heavy cold and flu like symptoms. Over the past 4 weeks I have suffered from a cough and excess mucas (I've been through a box of tissues everyday for the past four days). Why am I getting a constant strong smell? It smells a like sweet and sour sauce?
