I Had A White Raised Patch Removed From My Tongue

I had a white raised patch removed from my tongue after being referred by my dentist. It was diagnosed as hyper keratosis. It came back soon after removal but my dentist said it was nothing to worry about. I still have it over 6 months on. Is this something to worry about?
