I Had A Wisdom Tooth Pulled Out And Got 6

I had a wisdom tooth pulled out and got 6 dissolvable stitches in ive had them in for 4weeks now and 2 have fallen out but the others r still in there im finding food is getting stuck around them and it gets a little smelly.
There were dark blue and r now a really light blue and a little white.
The dentist said they should last around 2-3weeks.
Is this normal.how long should I wait for them to come out before going back to see the dentist
