I Had Afall Down The Stairs In August And Had

I had afall down the stairs in august and had a bad sprain on my left ankle. I went through therpy etc and was cleared as of Jan. However, I an having ankle pain but now in both ankles. When I stand up and try to walk, thet really hurt and it is hard to walk especially going up and down stairs. What do you think is going on?
